As Derren himself confesses, there is no one book written about the things Derren does. So, with the help of the users on Yahoo! Groups, some of the best books to read are listed on this page.

The books that you suggest on the DB reading list as composed by Yahoo groups members are pretty much useless. What you have to remember is Derren is a magician, yes a 'MAGICIAN' and those books are useless to anyone who doesn't understand this fact. In my opinion it's misleading to advertise these books as reading material which will help you to become capable of performing Derren Brown type of effects, because they won't.

• "48 laws of power "by Robert Greene - a brilliant book about how people have achieved power throughout history, which demonstrates, using their successes or failures to teach you how to achieve power.
